What this tool is

The LXD Evidence Assistant is a structured, two-stage AI research pipeline for learning experience designers and instructional designers. It searches academic sources and returns a synthesis plus a learning flow, assessment strategy, and measurement plan. See About for exactly which sources we use. It is an educational thinking partner, not legal, compliance, or other professional advice.

Free trial and paid access

Each browser may run one free research session. Full access requires purchasing the LXD Evidence Assistant unlock, or holding a valid access code (including through the Practitioner Stack). Access codes are for your own individual use — do not share, publish, or resell them.

AI-generated responses

Results are generated dynamically using third-party AI and academic search platforms. AI output can be imperfect, incomplete, or confidently wrong. Treat it as first-draft thinking: verify citations against their original source and apply your own professional judgment before relying on any finding or design recommendation.

Acceptable use

Use the tool for your own learning and design practice. You may not:

• use scripts, bots, or other automated means to create sessions, or attempt to circumvent the free-session limit or the access-code requirement;
• scrape, systematically extract, or bulk-download the tool’s output or underlying data;
• attempt to view or drive a research session you did not create;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the application’s source code, prompts, or underlying research/synthesis pipeline;
• use the tool’s content, outputs, or underlying prompts to train an AI system or to build a competing product; or
• resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the tool.

Your work product

The synthesis and design artifacts generated from your own inputs are yours to use in your own projects and deliverables. Attribution to AI4LD / Brenda Bannan when you reference the underlying frameworks is welcome and appreciated.

Intellectual property

The application, its source code, and the underlying research and synthesis pipeline (including its agent prompts and design logic) are the intellectual property of Lady B Innovation, LLC / Dr. Brenda Bannan (AI4LD) and are protected by copyright and trade secret law. All rights reserved. The Acceptable Use restrictions above — no scraping, no reverse-engineering, no reuse to train or build a competing tool — are conditions of your license to use this app, not merely a suggestion.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The tool is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, and may change or be withdrawn at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI4LD’s liability arising from your use of this tool is limited to the amount you paid for access to it (for the free trial session, zero).
